Sienna Spiro to Make ARIA Awards Debut as Global Pop Breakout Joins 40th Anniversary Show

The 21-year-old singer, whose debut album Visitor has spent 14 consecutive weeks in the ARIA Albums Chart top 10, will perform at the Nov. 18 ceremony in Sydney.
Global pop breakout Sienna Spiro will make her ARIA Awards debut at the 2026 ceremony in Sydney, joining the lineup for the Australian music industry’s 40th anniversary celebration.
The British singer-songwriter will perform at the 40th Annual ARIA Awards, in partnership with Spotify, on Nov. 18 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion. The appearance comes following the release of her debut album, Visitor, which has spent 14 consecutive weeks in the ARIA Albums Chart top 10, peaking at No. 3 in July.
At 21, Spiro has amassed more than 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 2 billion streams globally. She has also placed three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously and secured six entries on the ARIA Singles Chart.
Her growing Australian following was underscored by the rapid sellout of her Visitor tour across Australia and New Zealand, scheduled for January 2027. The run moved more than 30,000 tickets, with shows selling out within hours. The upcoming dates will mark Spiro’s second visit to Australia, following an intimate fan event at Newtown’s Pleasure Club in 2025.
Spiro’s music has also found traction in the Australian market, with “Die On This Hill” achieving Platinum certification and “You Stole The Show,” “MAYBE,” “Material Lover” and “The Visitor” all earning Gold status.
“So excited and honoured to be performing at the 2026 ARIA Awards. I love Australia and can’t wait to be back!” Spiro said.
The singer’s international profile has accelerated throughout 2026. She won Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards, was shortlisted for the BRIT Awards’ Critics’ Choice prize and was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. She also received two American Music Award nominations, for Best Vocal Performance and Breakthrough Pop Artist.
Her rise has drawn coverage from publications including Rolling Stone, The New York Times, ELLE, Dazed, Interview Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter. Variety has described Spiro as “the world’s next pop vocal superhero,” praising her vocal ability and potential longevity in pop music.
Spiro joins a roster of international artists who have performed at the ARIA Awards over the years, including Olivia Dean, Alicia Keys, Ava Max, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Khalid, Lorde, Sam Smith and Taylor Swift.
The 40th anniversary ceremony will celebrate Australian music across 29 categories, with winners announced on Nov. 18. Additional performers and presenters are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The awards will stream live on Paramount+ at 5 p.m. AEDT, with a broadcast on Network 10 following Big Brother. The television broadcast will include red carpet coverage, while red carpet moments and performances will be shared across ARIA’s social media channels from 1 p.m. AEDT.
The ceremony is supported by Destination NSW, which is partnering with ARIA to showcase Sydney as an international destination for live entertainment and culture.
