The Belgian DJ and producer joins the Swiss watchmaker’s “Born to Dare” campaign following a string of historic festival performances.

Belgian techno superstar Charlotte de Witte has been announced as the latest ambassador for Swiss luxury watchmaker TUDOR, joining the brand’s global “Born to Dare” campaign.

One of electronic music’s most influential figures, de Witte has been named DJ Mag’s World’s No. 1 Techno DJ for seven consecutive years and made history as the first female techno artist to close Tomorrowland’s main stage.

She also became the first woman to headline Detroit’s Movement Festival in its 23-year history and the first techno DJ to perform on the main stage at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival.

Known for her dark, minimalist sound, de Witte has performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Las Vegas’ Sphere, while establishing herself as an entrepreneur through her record labels KNTXT and Epoque.

The DJ began her career performing under the male alias Raving George, initially concealing her gender to overcome barriers in the traditionally male-dominated techno scene.

Her appointment aligns with TUDOR’s “Born to Dare” campaign, launched in 2017 to celebrate individuals who challenge conventions and push boundaries in their respective fields.

Founded by Rolex creator Hans Wilsdorf, TUDOR traces its origins to 1926 and is known for watch collections including Black Bay, Pelagos and TUDOR Royal.

The partnership adds another major international brand collaboration to de Witte’s career as she continues to expand her influence beyond electronic music.
