The Foxtel-owned streaming service becomes Prime Video’s 32nd add-on subscription partner in Australia, with plans starting at $19 per month.

Australian streaming service BINGE has launched as an add-on subscription through Prime Video, giving Australian customers access to its catalogue of international television, local productions, live sport and news without leaving the Amazon streaming platform.

The partnership, announced on October 28, allows Prime Video customers to subscribe to BINGE through two monthly plans: Standard at $19 and Premium at $22.

The arrangement brings BINGE’s programming into the Prime Video interface, allowing customers to access content through a single app and billing relationship, rather than managing separate streaming services.

Among the titles available through BINGE are Australian productions Colin From Accounts, Wentworth and High Country, alongside international series including American Horror Story, The Day of the Jackal, The Five Star Weekend, Outlander: The Final Season and The Real Housewives of New York.

The service also offers Saturday Night Live and a selection of live sport and news programming.

Sports coverage includes selected NRL, AFL, Big Bash League and Women’s Big Bash League matches drawn from Kayo Sports, with no advertising breaks during play, alongside Formula 1 Kayo Minis and surfing.

Live news channels include News24, BBC News, FOX SPORTS News and CNBC.

Alexandra Gilbert, head of content at Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, said the agreement strengthened the platform’s position as a destination for multiple streaming services.

“As a first-stop entertainment destination, Prime Video offers customers a vast selection of premium content from Amazon MGM Studios Original series and movies, to licensed favourites, live sports, the ability to rent or buy thousands of new and popular movies, and add-on subscriptions,” Gilbert said.

“We’re excited to welcome BINGE to Prime Video as our 32nd add-on subscription partner in Australia, strengthening our commitment to providing customers with unparalleled variety, world-class content and the flexibility to build their ideal entertainment experience, all in one app.”

For Foxtel Group, the partnership represents an opportunity to expand BINGE’s reach by making the service available to Prime Video’s Australian customer base.

Foxtel Group executive director of content and commercial partnerships Stephanie Quinn described the arrangement as a way of bringing together premium scripted entertainment, Australian productions and live programming.

“It’s a compelling proposition, bringing together must-watch global series, standout Australian originals, live sport and trusted news, alongside Prime Video’s extensive content library,” Quinn said.

“We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for more Australians to discover BINGE’s incredible content. Our partnership with Prime Video opens up a new way for customers to access BINGE, extending our reach while making our breadth of premium entertainment more accessible.”

BINGE joins an expanding roster of streaming services available through Prime Video’s add-on subscription model in Australia, including HBO Max, Apple TV, Paramount+, MGM+ and Hayu.

The services sit alongside Prime Video’s own programming, including Reacher, Fallout, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and The Summer I Turned Pretty, as well as films available to rent or purchase.

The integration reflects the growing emphasis on streaming aggregation, as platforms seek to simplify access to an increasingly fragmented entertainment market.

For consumers, the arrangement offers the convenience of accessing multiple services through one interface, while giving streaming providers another distribution channel through which to attract subscribers.

BINGE subscriptions purchased through Prime Video can be cancelled at any time, with no additional app required.
