The collaboration will see Dior become the premier partner of A24’s Cherry Lane Theatre in New York, while the two companies develop projects across film, theatre and fashion.

Dior and A24 are joining forces for a two-year creative partnership spanning film, theatre and live events.

The collaboration will see Dior become the premier partner of New York’s Cherry Lane Theatre, while also extending to a wider program bringing together established and emerging artists across film, theatre, fashion and other creative disciplines.

The partnership will launch at Cherry Lane with an event marking the first anniversary of the theatre’s reopening under A24.

The evening will feature Both Ends, a one-off performance by Justin Vivian Bond, produced and directed by Zack Winokur and inspired by poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, one of the theatre’s founders.

Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson has designed costumes specifically for the performance, with Bond also wearing an archival piece by Paul Poiret. Millay herself wore the French designer, whose work inspired Anderson’s Dior Winter 2026 collection.

“There’s something thrilling about putting two creatively driven worlds side by side — you start to see what they pull out of each other that neither could’ve found alone,” Anderson said of the partnership. “That’s where the interesting stuff happens.”

Beyond Cherry Lane, Dior and A24 plan to develop a curated slate of programming both on and off screen, designed to connect artists with audiences and support emerging as well as established creative talent.

The partnership will also include initiatives for students, creating opportunities for young people to engage with the creative and practical sides of filmmaking and theatre.

For Dior, the agreement continues the fashion house’s longstanding relationship with cinema and reflects Anderson’s interest in the intersection of fashion, film and other creative disciplines.

It also brings together two companies that have increasingly positioned themselves beyond their traditional fields. A24 has expanded its footprint from independent film and television into theatre and live performance, while Anderson has continued to explore the relationship between fashion and the wider arts since taking the creative reins at Dior.

The Cherry Lane collaboration provides the first public expression of that relationship, with further details of the two-year program set to be announced at a later date.
