Ewen Leslie, Stephen Curry and Broden Kelly Join Final Season of The Artful Dodger
Production is now underway in Sydney on the third and final season of the Australian Disney+ series, with Thomas Brodie-Sangster, David Thewlis and Maia Mitchell returning.
Ewen Leslie, Stephen Curry and Broden Kelly have joined the cast of the third and final season of The Artful Dodger, which has begun principal photography in Sydney.
AACTA Award winner Leslie (Top of the Lake: China Girl, The Cry) will play Dr Silas Wickenby, while Logie winner Curry (Hounds of Love, Bay of Fires) has been cast as Seth Pecksniff. Kelly, known for Auntie Donna and Colin From Accounts, will appear as Sikes.
They join returning leads Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Dr Jack Dawkins, David Thewlis as Norbert Fagin and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox.
Also returning are Susie Porter as Lady Jane Fox, Damien Garvey as the Governor, Tim Minchin as Darius Cracksworth, Lucy-Rose Leonard as Lady Fanny Fox, Nicholas Burton as Dr Sneed and Vivienne Awosoga as Hetty.
Aljin Abella will reprise his role as Flashbang, alongside Albert Latailakepa as Aputi and Brigid Zengeni as Rotty. Pamela Rabe (Wentworth, Deadloch) and Justin Rosniak (Mr Inbetween, Colin From Accounts) will appear in guest roles.
Disney+ says the final season will deliver bigger heists, bolder hijinks and more of the high-stakes adventure that has defined the series. The season will premiere on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the United States.

The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Curio Pictures. Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner serve as executive producers and producers, with Chris Martin-Jones acting as series producer.
Ben Young (The Twelve, Clickbait) and Ben C. Lucas (The Survivors, High Country) will direct the season. BAFTA nominee Andrew Knight (Jack Irish, Rake) leads the scripting team as executive producer, working alongside script producer Dan Knight, who has written across all three seasons.

Season three is supported by the NSW Government through Screen NSW’s Made in NSW Fund, with Screen NSW also supporting post-production, digital and visual effects.
Seasons one and two of The Artful Dodger are currently streaming on Disney+ globally and Hulu in the US. The series was co-created by James McNamara, David Maher and David Taylor.
