Delta Goodrem Announces 2027 Australian Arena Tour in Support of New Album PURE
The multi-platinum Australian star will embark on an eight-city national tour next April before taking the PURE World Tour overseas.
Delta Goodrem is heading back to Australian arenas in 2027, with the multi-platinum singer-songwriter unveiling an eight-date national tour in support of her forthcoming album, PURE.
The PURE World Tour will kick off in Newcastle on April 8 before travelling to Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart, marking Goodrem’s first major Australian arena run for the new record. Australia will be the first territory to go on sale, with international dates to be announced at a later date.
The announcement follows an eventful year for the Australian star, who recently returned home after representing Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final with her single Eclipse. She revealed the Australian tour dates during a sold-out performance at Sydney’s Liberty Hall, where she reunited with local fans following a string of sold-out UK and European shows.
“Every tour has its own heartbeat, and I can already feel how special this one is going to be,” Goodrem said in a statement.
“Eclipse was the beginning of this new chapter, and it’s only the start of what’s to come. It’s going to be epic – bringing together the songs people have grown up with and the brand-new music from PURE that tells the next part of the story.
“I can’t wait to fill these incredible rooms with love, sing-alongs, and the power of music bringing us together at exactly the right moment. I can’t wait to bring it to life on stages across Australia. Gravity is optional.”
The forthcoming album has already been previewed by the singles Eclipse and Hologram, the latter continuing to receive strong Australian radio support. The project also marks Goodrem’s first release following her signing with Universal Music through Better Now Records/Electrola.
The Australian tour announcement caps off a busy period for the singer, who is also set to appear on the upcoming season of the UK’s hugely popular television series Strictly Come Dancing later this year.
Since releasing her breakthrough debut album Innocent Eyes in 2003, Goodrem has become one of Australia’s most successful recording artists, selling more than nine million albums worldwide. Innocent Eyes remains one of the country’s biggest-selling albums, while Goodrem has amassed five No. 1 albums, nine No. 1 singles and a host of industry honours, including ARIA’s Artist of the Decade award in 2010.
Beyond her solo career, Goodrem has collaborated with artists including Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John, Tony Bennett, Michael Bolton and LeAnn Rimes, and has toured alongside Shania Twain, Backstreet Boys, Andrea Bocelli and Ricky Martin.
