Nickelback Announce 2027 Australian Tour With Don Broco
The Canadian rock heavyweights will play seven Australian dates in October 2027 as part of their global Everything Under the Sun Tour.
Nickelback will return to Australia in October 2027 for a seven-date arena and outdoor tour in support of the band’s forthcoming album, Everything Under the Sun.
Presented by Live Nation, the Australian leg will begin at Perth’s RAC Arena on October 2 before visiting Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane and Sydney. The tour will conclude at Roche Estate in Pokolbin on October 16.
English rock band Don Broco will join Nickelback as special guests across the tour.
The global run celebrates Nickelback’s 11th studio album, Everything Under the Sun, which will be released through Virgin Music Group on October 30. It follows the band’s 2022 album, Get Rollin’, and the subsequent tour, which became the fastest-selling and most highly attended of Nickelback’s career.
The new album has been introduced by “Rattle the Cage”, a collaboration with Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5. The track has reached No. 1 at Active Rock radio in the United States. Further singles “Leave Me Behind” and “Make Me Love You” have revealed a more vulnerable side of the record.
The Everything Under the Sun Tour will begin in Pittsburgh on February 6 before travelling across North America, the UK, Europe and Australia.
The North American leg includes performances at Chicago’s United Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena and Houston’s Toyota Center. It will conclude at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center on May 1.
Nickelback will then travel to the UK and Europe, beginning at Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena on May 22. The European itinerary includes London, Dublin, Amsterdam and Munich before concluding at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena on July 13.
Direct support act Don Broco have established a loyal international audience through a sound combining metal, post-hardcore, electronic music and alternative rock. The British four-piece have sold out major venues including Wembley Arena and Alexandra Palace and appeared at festivals such as Download and Reading and Leeds.
The bands recently collaborated on “Nightmare Tripping”, the title track from Don Broco’s latest album, released through Fearless Records.
The tour announcement follows the success of the documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback, which spent several weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10 and explored the Canadian band’s rise, commercial success and often-polarising place in popular culture.
Formed in Alberta in 1995, Nickelback have sold close to 65 million albums worldwide and accumulated billions of streams. The band currently attracts more than 50 million monthly listeners across streaming platforms.
